Roasted Pepper Hummus * Food & Drink



Looking for a delicious and easy dip for a summer get together? Hummus is super easy to make, tastes good and is a great dip for vegetables too.



Roasted Pepper Hummus Recipe
  • 2- 15 ounce cans of garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup of sesame tahini
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 water
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • red and yellow sweet peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
Using a grill or oven roast peppers until skin is bubbling up. Peel peppers and then chop. Peel and chop garlic. Add both to food processor. Add olive oil, salt, water, lemon juice and blend together. Add garbanzo beans. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more water if the hummus is too dry and blend. Drizzle with olive oil and top with a bit of peppers and a dash of red pepper powder.

Sweet Tip: Garbanzo Beans and Chickpeas are the same thing.
